Task
To design and built a cinema room that could easily transform into a living room without revealing its real purpose. Moreover, the equipment and cables had to be concealed from children and numerous friends.
Features
The cinema room had to be built in a typical block of flats, which meant that there would be certain noise level requirement. At the same time, we had to implement the wishes of all the members of a big family – to watch films, to play video games and to have a possibility of turning the cinema room into an ordinary room.
Solution
We paid special attention to soundproofing. We used acoutextile to upholster the walls, the floor, the ceiling and even the windows. We installed the compact heat rejection system for the projector. Using acoutextile enabled us to conceal all the equipment in the walls, pillars and ceiling.
Review
We spent a whole day looking for our family member who had barricaded himself in the cinema and didn’t want to leave it! He was just sitting there and enjoying films the whole day! Our children and friends are overjoyed with the playroom, which transforms into a comfortable cinema with wonderful sound and video by simply pushing a button!
