Personal cinema room in Sestroretsk

Client: private individual
Location: Sestroretsk, Russia
Space: 126 m²

Task

To arrange a sound and video multi-room in all the rooms of a big private house. When discussing the project, we realized that the house owner is keen on good cinema. So we suggested building a home cinema room for one person in his study.

Features

The study in the mansard with a canted ceiling is not a perfect place for installing the cinema equipment. As the owner wanted the sound equipment to be as invisible as possible, we started to look for nonstandard ways of locating it.

Solution

We had to make acoustic evaluation of the room in order to install the sound equipment. We installed the subwoofer in the furniture, which we designed and assembled ourselves. We added the scenario light and curtains control that easily turns the study into a cozy and comfortable personal home cinema.

Review

Thanks to Atmosferoom, I enjoy favourite films in the study and have a rest from the family. Wonderful sound! Excellent video! Every time I really enjoy myself!
