Our work
Personal cinema room on Dinamo prospect
- Client: private individual
- Location: Saint-Petersburg, Russia
- Space: 19 m2
Task
To design and build a personal cinema room in the flat for a family. There had to be a full value projection screen and Dolby Atmos sound.
Features
The room was rather small whereas the clients wanted their cinema room to have cinema armchairs to feel comfortable. Moreover, it was important for the clients to get the classic cinema interior and they did not want it to be spoiled by the sound system.
Solution
We soundproofed the room to make sure that family film shows would not disturb the neighbours. But there was not enough space for the sound equipment. To solve this problem, we picked out the sound system that can be built in the ceiling without affecting the sound or the interior.
Review
Our family really enjoys spending time at the cinema room! The armchairs are very comfortable, the sound and video are excellent. It’s just great to go to the cinema in your own flat!
